Early November 2025, a news at Watford Observer stated that Leavesden Road Baptist Church will be repurposed and converted to be a mosque.

As a ministry, we believe that historic church buildings across the UK should remain dedicated to Christian worship and continue serving their communities in the faith they were built upon. In response, EETV has launched a petition urging local authorities to preserve all church properties for Christian use.
